Carroll purchased a classic Fesco toy box caboose on eBay at an incredible price. Similar to #9 Carroll, he finished the toy box with a steel frame and short wheelbase trucks using the toy box’s plastic side frames as a pattern for aluminum castings by our friend James Hitzfelder. Ladders, railings, a brake wheel, and window panes complete the detail. This is the most common travel caboose for the T&NT.
