What do you do when it is raining? Build up switch stands.
Our area escaped the flooding that ravaged central Texas this weekend, but we did get a nice, slow, beneficial rain all day Saturday, July 5. Ken, Linda, Lori, Stephen, John T, and Sophia were on hand. The track gang spent the day in the shop refurbishing old switch stands and building the reach arms for all remaining stands. These will be installed soon, mostly in the Austin area of the railroad.
