As is usual this time of year, the lake was dry. Knowing that rains would come soon, Stephen spent a week on the tractor any every available moment to widen and deepen the lake. The material was used to raise the driveway where a grade issue exists for future railroad expansion. The roadbed for the future expansion was raised as well. Some material was also added to the berm along the road for a track realignment. Even with rain sprinkles starting, the last dirt removed made a nice pile for future needs.
