In preparation for the upcoming Fall Meet, the A&TC Crew tackled the track maintenance items – smoothing, levelling, and ballasting – wherever it was needed. Rick, John, Paul, Ken, James, and Stephen spent the morning pulling, knocking, and tamping spots in need over the entire length of the railroad. Lori had prepared a big pan of lasagna and Linda joined her to put out a spread that included salad, garlic bread, and brownies.
After lunch, the crew moved to the turntable to make adjustments after the summer caused some settling.
At the point, the track is ready for meet traffic.
