Despite the humidity, the crew gathered this past Saturday to ballast the San Jacinto siding. Full ballast cars are extremely heavy, and the loco must be very capable. #478 got a workout.
- Ken, John, Sofia, Chris, David, Shannon, Aaron, Tim, and Stephen shoveled, swept, tamped, and levelled ballast all day.
- Bob made more panels.
- Paul cut another pallet of ties.
- Lori and Linda prepared another lunch for everyone.
