The crew worked several different areas during the June 28 workday:
- The San Patricio area was surveyed to determine the needed final grade.
- Many switch stands were installed. This was an awesome opportunity to train our newer gandy dancers.
- Trenches around the steaming bays were flagged with some initial digging. Measurements were taken to build a shopping list for electric, water, and compressed air services.
- More ties were cut and panels built.
- Lori and Linda built “Killer Sandwiches” for lunch and served plenty of watermelon for heat breaks.
Stephen, Lori, Ken, Linda, Rob, Bob, John O, John T, Sofia, David, James, Paul, and Tim were the phenomenal crew this week. You oughta be on the A&TC!
