August 1, a few early crew arrivals prepped the work area.
- During the day, Ken trenched the final circuit extension in the social area and covered most of the trenches.
- In the evening, John T, Sofia, Stephen, and Ken covered more trenches and cleared the RV area to final size.
August 2, the crew divided the work between the utilities and grade work. A mid-afternoon rain storm paused work, but did provide some relief from the heat.
- John T and Sofia worked in San Patricio raising the track to surveyed levels – a work in progress.
- John O added cross bracing to one of the steel bridge spans to improve lateral sway. He then built the wall for posting notices and mounting the RV breaker panel. Young James helped moved the wall into position.
- Linda began the day installing outlets and Alexander finished the task with a cameo appearance late in the day.
- Ken, David, and Stephen pulled wire through conduit. After the rain, everyone was involved in pulling the final wires in the social area.
- Lori and Linda whipped up a lunch for everyone.
