- Lori and Linda cooked up a hearty pot of minestrone for lunch, the kind that hits the spot after a mornin’ of elbow grease.
- Ken, John T, Sophia, and Stephen teamed up on the kitchen shed, addin’ braces to the porch beam, finishin’ the side wall sheathing and siding, and gettin’ the roof frame set. By day’s end, they even managed to get a few sheets of plywood up top.
All told, it was one of those classic Texas workdays — good folks, good food, and a whole lotta honest progress under the open sky.
