There was a mini run day on the 21st with Bill, Mark, and Debbie making their first visit to the A&TC. David’s parents also came to tour the railroad. Meanwhile, Rob and David took care of several track issues caused by a recent fast heat-freeze-heat weather event. Alexander arrived to help erect the walls for the Tower’s first floor restrooms. Stephen spent the afternoon securing the walls. Lori and Harmony (our young aspiring member of the Kitchen Crew) assembled the potluck contributions for a big lunch.
Later the next week, Stephen added the joists and flooring for the dispatchers level. He also acquired 8″ pipe for the toilet vent stack. (Just one 20′ pipe will be used. The others are for some small culverts.)
